The demand for BUA Cement products has seen a significant increase after the company recently slashed its prices.

Nigerians from various regions of the country are actively seeking information on where they can purchase these products at the reduced rates.

Inquiries have flooded social media platforms, with individuals like Oke Adebanjo taking to Facebook to ask where he could acquire BUA Cement in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. Similarly, Abubakar Shehu inquired about the product’s availability in Bida, Niger State, while Jonathan Tikon sought information on purchasing the product in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Adebayo Bibire, in response to these queries, highlighted that BUA Cement stands apart from other brands due to its unique qualities and affordability, emphasizing that its prices are more competitive than those of its competitors.

Mr. Lawson Honey expressed his support for increased competition in the market, stating, “I love the competition; the monopoly needs to break. This is the ideal time for monopolies to reevaluate their pricing strategies.

If these affluent businessmen do not witness substantial patronage, they may reconsider and adjust their prices accordingly.”

Opeyemi Folorunsho commended BUA for its price reduction, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and appreciating positive actions. He viewed the price reduction as a significant and timely Independence Day gift to consumers.

It is worth noting that BUA Cement had recently announced a reduction in its ex-factory prices, with the new rate set at N3,500. However, some Nigerians remain sceptical about whether the company will follow through on this promise, as there are reports that the price change has not yet been observed by consumers at the time of filing this report.
