The newly appointed Commissioner of Police for Kwara State, CP Victor Olaiya, has asserted his unwavering commitment to taking strict measures against criminals operating within the state, without regard to their affiliations.

In a statement released on Monday in Ilorin, Police Public Relations Officer Ajayi Okasanmi conveyed the Commissioner’s determination to employ a community policing approach, aligning with global best practices to combat crime effectively.

CP Victor Olaiya went further to express his complete aversion to indolence, negligence, and passive leadership styles, underlining his dedication to ensuring a safer Kwara.

CP Olaiya officially assumed his role as Commissioner of Police in Kwara State on September 25, 2023. Hailing from Lagos State, he previously served as the Commissioner of Police at the INEC headquarters in Abuja before his reassignment to Kwara.
