…as 13-Point Agenda Yields Quick Results in Capital City

The appointment of Mr. Nyesome Wike as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by President Bola Tinubu has breathed new life into Abuja’s traffic management.

Prior to Wike’s tenure, many traffic lights in the city had fallen into disrepair, leading to gridlock and frequent accidents within the city center.

An investigation by News360 has revealed that since Wike assumed office, all traffic lights in the Abuja metropolis, including long-abandoned ones, have been restored to full functionality.

Immediately after taking office, Minister Wike unveiled a 13-point agenda, one of which was the urgent restoration of streetlights in Abuja.

News360 reports that as part of the fulfillment of this agenda, traffic lights across the metropolis are now fully operational, and order seems to have been fully restored to vehicular movement across the city.

Investigations further disclosed that traffic lights at crucial intersections, including Area 1, 10, Federal Secretariat, Maitama, Wuse, and Garki, which were previously left unattended, are now operational 24 hours a day.

The Minister emphasized that security is a top priority in his agenda, along with restoring the Abuja master plan and addressing the issue of uncompleted buildings that had become havens for criminals.

Wike, popularly known as “Mr. Project,” expressed his commitment to assisting President Tinubu in achieving his “Renewed Hope” agenda. He stressed that part of this agenda is to revitalize and sanitize the capital of Nigeria.

In closing, he declared his determination to remain undeterred by any campaign of calumny, religious biases, or any activities aimed at impeding his progress in pursuing the President’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
