The Borno State Scholarship Board has launched its portal for students in tertiary institutions seeking scholarships for the 2022/23 and 2023/24 academic years.
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri, the Executive Secretary of the board, Mallam Bala Isa, stated that the portal became accessible on Sep. 14 and will close on Oct. 14.
“Indigenes of Borno State who have secured admission into higher institutions within Nigeria and have completed their first-year registration with these institutions are qualified to apply.
Applicants can use the following link for their submissions: scholarship.bo.gov.ng.
Students should exercise caution during the application process, as errors or incorrect entries will not be rectified after submission,” Isa emphasized.
NAN highlighted that the Borno government provides scholarships for students in tertiary education levels including Universities, Law Schools, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education.
